WHERE IS THE BLOCKADE?

How many times have we heard that the only reason why Cubans have to live in houses without roof and

that are falling on top of their heads, is simply because the Castro government doesn't have access to the

construction materials needed, due to the US embargo.

But look at this company, Escambray, based in Cuba that has every product that you can find at Home Depot

or any other US chain. The only difference is that they sell only to foreigners.

How can Castro continue to fool so many people, or is it that they want to be fooled?

Which embargo do you want to lift?

See this picture of the Havana skyline with all these products being advertised like in the good old times?

No, it doesn't mean that the US has lifted the embargo and American companies are now moving to a

capitalistic Cuba, it means that the millionaire dictator of Cuba and his millionaire business partners

want to project this image to foreigners, showing all the products that are being manufactured in Cuba

but that are not available to regular Cubans because they do not have hard currency to pay Castro and

his rich business associates.

This company, Alimentos Rio Zaza, is owned by Castro in partnership with a Chilean named Max Marambio

who used to be a leftist guerrilla fighting to rid the world of those rich people and millionaires who exploit

the poor people, but who now has become a multimillionaire himself thanks to his Cuban business partner,

rides a Porsche, wears Hugo Boss and Giorgio Armani suits and, like his Cuban business partner, couldn't

care less about the poor people that they are both exploiting and taking advantage of.

As I have said many times before, the ONLY EMBARGO that hurts the Cuban people is the internal embargo

that Castro put in place to control the population.

But you never hear any of the so called "leftists" referring to that embargo. It could be that, like Marambio,

they are economically benefiting from it and don't want to hurt their businesses.

And there are ignorant people who still believe that the multimillionaire Castro is the defender of the poor

people of the world! Castro is laughing all the way to the bank at their stupidity.

Marambio with Tony de la Guardia who together with his twin brother Patricio used to run most of Castro's

foreign businesses including drug trafficking. Tony de la Guardia was later sent to the firing squad, together

with Arnaldo Ochoa, when Castro found out that the Americans were aware of his drug trafficking business

and were ready to indict his regime. Castro murdered the subordinates, who were following his orders, to

claim that they were doing it without his authorization.

Now Marambio has been put in charge of most of the dictator's businesses around the world.

When was the last time that Cubans were able to see any of these?

Hot dogs, hamburgers, ham, Spanish sausage (chorizo), lobster pate, breakfast sausages? Most Cubans,

who were born after Castro came to power, don't even know what these things are. Castro's propaganda

machine claims that Cubans can't have access to these type of products because "of the criminal US blockade

against Cuba." That same lie is repeated over and over by ignorant people who do not know The Real Cuba.

In the United Nations, 99% of the countries that belong to that social club vote every year to ask the US to

eliminate the 'criminal blockade.' One of those countries that always votes to ask for the end of the embargo

is the Spanish government.

But the products that you see above ARE BEING PRODUCED IN CUBA! Yes sir, they are being produced by a

Spanish company. According to the information provided in their website, this is a "Hispano-Cubana" company.

In other words, it is a partnership between Spanish investors and the Castro regime.

But Cubans won't see any of these products in their 'bodegas' because of the internal blockade imposed by

Castro against the Cuban people.

Will the Spanish government ask Castro to eliminate the internal blockade and make these products available

to regular Cubans and not just to foreigners or for export? No, because that would jeopardize the excellent

business that many other Spanish and European companies are doing in Cuba benefiting from the exploitation

of a slave working force that has no right to benefits, vacations, to protest or to be represented by unions

How can Castro complain about a 'US blockade' when he is able to sell to foreigners in Cuba all kind of computer

equipment manufactured by US companies?

How can the so called Pastors for Peace, organize caravans to take computer equipment to Cuban schools

claiming that the US blockade prevents the Cuban regime from supplying the schools with the necessary

computer equipment that they need?

How can anyone still believe that the US sanctions against the Castro regime are the cause for so much poverty,

lack of food, lack of medicines, lack of housing, etc.?

The truth is that the only embargo that really hurts the Cuban people, is the INTERNAL embargo put in place by

Castro, in order to keep a tight control of the Cuban population.

Until that internal embargo is lifted, the Cuban people will continue to suffer no matter what happens with the US

embargo.

Here are some of the hundreds of computer products, manufactured by US companies, being offered by Tecun, a

Cuban government company with several stores located in Havana. In some cases, Tecun is even offering direct

support from the US manufacturer, like in the case of Cisco products. I would believe that providing such a

service is in violation of the embargo and I'll be sending this information to my representatives in Congress. I ask

you to please do the same.

And remember, that many Cubans have been sent to jail when the police found out that they had  a computer

at home.

Castro's Cuba is one of the few places on Earth where having a home computer is considered a crime.

All the equipment being offered by Tecun is ONLY FOR FOREIGNERS.
